I’m a resident in Calvert County Maryland and now that the weather is warming up and it’s that time again to catch skip I was wondering if you guys down there head us at all? I believe we operate on the same frequency. I seem to hear you guy clear as day at night. I hope someone will have an answer for this.

When Culpepre operated on 33.82, we could hear you loud and clear and most times could hear your units. Now that we have switched to an 800MHz trunking system, we still send station alerting tones on 33.82, but have unplugged the base station receiver for that freq and only monitor/operate on the 800 system now.

Well, I guess you will miss hearing all that skip on low band, but I'm not sure Calvert County counts as skip...
