Cumberland Fire Department question..............

I made a trip to western Maryland and was able to monitor Allegany County Sheriff, EMS Alerts(City and County), Ambo-Hospital med channels, Frostburg PD. and MSP Cumberland. What was dark all weekend was Cumberland City Fire alerts and fire ground. They should have been active as the County units were running into the city for 3 rd medic calls. Can anyone advise what frequency and talk group(s) they are using? Back in the day it was conventional 453.100 Station alerts and 33.88 fireground. Are they still using those? I manually program because the damaged " teeth" on my BCD436 prevent cable connect to computer for Sentinel and DC power. Thanks for any help.

My recollection is that they operate exclusively on FIRST now, using the county tgs, and they *may* have a company tg. Give me a few hours to check logs, and you might want to search this forums for a discussion concerning the transition.

I did find this post:

It mentions tg 11836 and some county tacs that are used by Cumberland Fire Dept.

CFD is alerted on the same talk group as county fire and EMS. CFD uses the Bravo 10-x talk groups when they are on calls.
In the past they had their own channels for alerting and operations but they no longer do that.
