Cuming County ?

Can anybody confirm that the frequencies listed here on the RR database Cuming County, Nebraska (NE) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
are valid?

I programmed a RS Pro-96 scanner for someone that lives in west point, and they claim they can't hear the Cuming CO. sheriff or local PD?

Does WP have a local PD? or is it covered by the Coming Co. Sheriff?

Any thoughts? Thanks

West point does have thier own pd. They use the sheriff office uhf repeater last I knew. I was up there in january and heard them. That was on 460.2 mhz.

What pl did you program, if any?

The only frequency i can speak for is the law enforcement frequency 460.200, and they are currently using that. Verified that today.

I did a web import from WIN96 where it gets the info from the RR database, and for 460.2oo MHz it put the PL tone in as 77.0 is that correct?

It was correct in Dec. 2012 before I moved to Kansas. Leave your scanner in PL/DCS Search and see what it comes up with.

There is actually 3 repeaters on that frequency that the SO and local law uses. 1 is in West Point, 1 is in Bancroft and 1 near Beemer. I usely search PL and have only seen 77.0. They strip the PL on CWID.

OK thanks... what does "CWID" stand for? County Wide?

and I will try 460.2MHz and no PL and see what happens.

CWID is a broadcast that occurs at regular intervals that identifies who is transmitting (their FCC call sign). This is in lieu of consistently repeating the FCC callsign on every broadcast. I'm not sure what the actual abbreviations mean.
