Hello! I've discovered a strange sounding transmission and was wondering if anyone knew what this was. It can be found between 147 - 148 MHz. It is constant buzzing with rhythmic
beeping approximately every two seconds. I have attached a recording of it and would appreciate if anyone can tell me more about this transmission. Thanks!

seems your ZIP folder is corrupted, unable to open.

What Specific Freq did you find this on ? Likely DMR or P25 users as 147-148 is generally Amateur Repeaters

It is not a zip in the link in his post but a .aac audio file. show a signal a periodic burst. Does not sound like any amateur mode and if in the U.S. most likely some local interference.

I'm everywhere Focker!
I would suspect it's something as simple as noise generated by a router, modem, cable TV box or something like that. Start unplugging things and see if it goes away.

Thanks! I tried this, but it's still happening. I'm also a few blocks away from an active AM radio station. I don't know, I'm at a loss

I found a recording of static that sounds the same as what's coming through the radio, minus the beeping. It's a PAL broadcast. I'm attaching a video of that sound.
