Can someone please post sample contents / format of the Proscan Current Channel.txt file for use by 3rd party software. I cannot seem to find any info on this file and it's contents & format.

Thanks in advance.

Would add that Scan125 does not itself need this. Like your Current Channel.txt file Scan125 creates a ScannerFTP.html file which users who feed websites can use to show similar info.

File subset content:

<body>
<h1>Scan125 Currently Monitoring </h1>
<p class=cur>
<b>
Tag : <br>
Freq: 0000.0000 MHz <br>
Mod : <br>
</b>
GMT : <br>
LCL : <br>
</p>
<h2>Previously Monitoring </h2>
<p class=prev>
<b>
Tag : <br>
Freq: 0000.0000 MHz<br>
Mod : <br>
</b>
GMT : <br>
LCL : <br>
</p>

However there is another program here in the UK from RadioReferenceUK that uses scanner frequency to look up info in their database. Their program connects directly to the supported scanners over USB but this would stop both Proscan and Scan125 from connecting and controlling as well. They currently support looking at the Proscan Current Channel.txt file hence my query as I have Scan125 users who are also RRUK subscribers.

Thanks again.

Update.

For users of Radio Reference UK (RRUK) which currently has the option in their Scanner Linker program to monitor the Proscan "Current Channel.txt" file and then give UK / Local real-time lookup information for frequency concerned then the next release of Scan125 (and to follow Scan75) will create a compatible "Current Channel.txt" file that RRUK Scanner Linker program can use.

Note! Radio Reference UK, like Radio Reference, is a subscription site/service and totally independent of Scan125 or myself.
