Anyone know what the new frequencies for the Custer National Forest and the Lolo West Net are, if they have been changed over yet? I am planning a trip to the area soon, and this information would really be helpful. Thanks.

There are still going to be exceptions to the rule due to interference etc
ie: Not all of the new UHF are 9 Mhz offsets

I think we will still see 167-174 for Repeaters in certain areas.
think of the number of FBI 167 Mhz Repeaters that need to find new homes

That’s the original Output frequency for the Custer, however it does not meet the new NTIA guidelines.

Yes, true, there are exceptions to this rule, such as 168 MHz inputs to repeaters. I’ve seen 169.175 used as a Repeater Input, in this new “hi, lo” rule, but never as a Repeater Output. It would seem that the Custer Forest Net would have to be replaced, but Federal frequency information has always been hard to come by in the Northern Rockies.
