I'm setting up my scanner to monitor Burlington County for when I travel to NJ, and I see that they have a "Custom Frequency Table" as part of their Motorola Type II TRS. Do I need to do anything in particular to monitor this, or just make sure that I have all frequencies programmed, not just the control channels? The scanner is a BCD396T.

Here's a link to the system in the RR database:

Thanks in advance-

You will need to program all the data in that table into your scanner; otherwise it will not track properly. Check the manual regarding VHF/UHF Motorola trunking. Even if a scanner supports control-channel-only trunking on VHF/UHF, you still need to do this.

Steve,

Done all the work for you! This zip file contains the .mem file for Butel's beta software, and the .usd file for Uniden's own. It's set for CC-only, and the system tracks just fine for me on my 396 (I was working down there just today - Bordentown had a drunk ex-boyfriend making terroristic threats to his ex and hiding in the woods off Rt. 130...)

Happy Scanning!
