I took a trip to CVG today to do some planespotting. Left very early in the morning and literally almost lost a wheel while driving. Unfortunately, that made me miss most of the cargo departures while I waited to get the car fixed. The rest of the day was mostly Regional Jets...not too exciting. Lots of radio activity, though! *CHARLIE 100 3008 calling CHARLIE 100 for radio checks, clear and encrypted. Said that it shows up as "Cincinnati IAP" on the console. The NAC was showing $551 on both input and output freqs - faulty decoding, if I'm not mistaken. They switched to the other FBI freq after some initial comms.

Thanks to Rod for his help and advice! Hopefully those of you who live closer to the airport will be able to find some of the airline ops/car rental/hotel freqs. There are a lot more out there!!!

I worked for Comair when they installed their Kenwood trunked system in 1998. (Makes it 15 years old now). Since they are now owned by Delta they may be on the Delta system.

Comair is gone now. Concourse C is closed and the airline is no longer in operation.

On a side note, the 171.6625 freq may actually be CBP, not FBI. I am hearing it this morning as they check international cargo.

Jared, don't forget to submit these using the submission tab so we can add them to the database. That way they will be properly processed into the database.
