Curious development, Bedford County has reverted back to a SITE NAC of $00a.

I can only assume at this point that they missed reprogramming some radios in the field, and those unfortunate users were locked-out of the system.

I've seen situations similar to this before when a new frequency(s) have been added to a system, and the CONTROL CHANNEL is rolled to the new frequency, and a few users got left in the dark with CC SCAN being displayed on their terminal radios.

Time will tell if Bedford County migrates back to newer NAC of $01e.

I've got a receiver site for CVRCS, and I keep losing the control channel sometimes. I am mostly monitoring the Amherst simulcast. I suspect there may be a control channel that I don't have programmed. This morning my system lost the control channel a little after 7:52 and have yet to get it re-established. I don't think it's a reception issue, as I am getting pretty solid reception otherwise. Hence I suspect it switches to a control channel that is not listed for the Amherst simulcast. I upload that content to openmhz (openmhz.com/system/cvrcs).

I lost the control channel again this morning around 7:30am, and got it back around 11:15am. I'm starting to have doubts about my feedline. I have a little more LNA gain I can apply, so I will give that a try on the RTLs. Next time I am at that receiver site, I may need to replace that line. For now, I will have to live with it going in and out.

The RR database shows all frequencies as control channels. It looks like a Harris system where any frequency can be used as a control channel. You have to enter every frequency in every site.
