Some police in medina county (medina city I believe) use a "d" code. I understand the standard codes used by the sheriff such as 33=in service, 37=out of service, 34=Juvinile, 16=dead body, 47=report.

I can't figure out the d codes tho. David 4 (d4) is everythings ok but that's as far as I've gotten. I've heard d13, d3, d6 and so on. I've searched and haven't been able to find out a meaning to them. Anybody got any ideas.

I wish they would just use the standard sheriff's office codes like everybody else.

Appreciate it as always,
Bill

"D Codes" = Disposition.

Used to advise the dispatcher of what police action (if any) happened on the call. There are no codes in the BSSA that cover these so some agencies make up their own.
