I changed my d-star hot-spot to use a security login, and changed the Brandmeister login to match.
Now nothing works, I can key my ht and the pi-star dashboard shows my radio ok. Nothing is going out
on the air or nothing works like it used to before I changed the password stuff.

I find the Brandmeister web site to be very slow to respond!
The 3103 server is going to this security requirement so I wanted to get ahead of the Dec. 10 change date.

Any one else have any problems / ideas?

Glad you got it sorted!

Had my own scare today when I was getting reports that I was having a 10% packet loss on my new brand spanking new Anytone-578 mobile. Had me puzzled for a bit. I tried another repeater that I would have *expected* some packet loss - but it was actually rock solid so, back to the drawing board for some head scratching. Then for some reason, in the back of my mind I remembered reading somewhere that Motorola was going to add the DMR Talker Alias feature to its new radios next year, and that they've been a stick-in-the-mud for the last 4 years about supporting it. Sure enough, I turned off TX Talker Alias and - poof - no packet loss. Obviously - the repeater in question is a Moto....

I had enabled the TX Talker Alias feature because I also had it enabled on my Anytone HT - which I primarily use with a Jumbospot, and it works well with it enabled.

I learn something new every day. :)
