Hiya.

I am trying to import my F6A programming into the MP-D74 software. When you click on "Open," there is a little drop down thingie that really does seem to indicate this is possible (in that you can open a .fx file), but every time I try, the screen just blinks and gives me a blank program again.

Is there some kinda voodoo dance or rain ritual or human sacrifice requirement I am not aware of to do this? I get that the software is free and is isn't the best, but I do expect that if the drop down says a file will open, it will actually open.

What am I missing here?

Will the MCP-D74 import a .CSV file? I think the MCP-F6 can export a .CSV file.

I'd sure like to know how? That was my first thought. But I couldn't find it. Then I just now checked and found I was using an older version. I updated and it still isn't there? I see nothing but the .fx option.

File | Import | click on the file folder icon to browse to a file

In the File Open window, you can select Travel Plus CSV file as a file type.

The frustrating thing about this is that Travel Plus is dead. The ARRL did not renew their contract with the developers of Travel Plus last year. So, using the .CSV import may require some experimentation.
