I'm not sure if this means anything to you LB but CJ said a while back what we call layer 1 was actually 18 channels. Though the DB shows only 12, if you merge in the 6 channels from NCTCOG to NTIRN you get 18 channels.
Here are screen shots of Trunker on the 3-1 site for NTIRN Dallas

Yeah it's been hit or miss. I'm concerned with ch 6 north central because that's where I live and the neighborhood I live in a sketchy so having the scanner on my phone is very helpful. Maybe I'm just being impatient?
All DPD have moved to a new radio system, its the NTIRN P25 system. It is a 700 MHz, P25 Phase 2 multisite simulcast system and to properly track it you will need a pretty darn expensive scanner. A Uniden BCD536P2, a Whistler TRX 1 or 2 or a Uniden SDS-100 or 200, the SDS is going to handle the new system the best but they are not cheap and can be a trick to program if you don't have experience with these newer scanners. I suspect the feed providers who were streaming the old UHF are retooling as those feeds were on Motorola radios which because of the Trunking security features can't be programmed as easily to broadcast to Broadcastify. You will have to wait for someone to put up a new feed or buy yourself a new scanner but Northcentral Dispatch is alive and well on the new system.

Thank you for that information. I know the upgrade has to be expensive which is why I'm trying to find this person to donate what little money I have. I wish I could afford to get the equipment and broadcast myself.

I would NOT recommend the BCD436, BCD536, TRX 1 or 2 as they are not designed for simulcast systems. Uniden SDS100/200 are and do work well on the NTIRN system.
I am attaching new screen shots from Trunker. Removed some possibly invalid info. Interesting to note on the phase 2 side 770.90625 had just shy of 275 hits last month. 5/3-5/22 Similar time frame for 773.53125 and 773.81875
These hits were generated during a time when the system had some sort of glitch that was keying up 10 plus police and fire talk groups at the same time and passing a weird noise. I believe this caused heavier than normal loading on the system and these channels might be only used when the system is at heavy loading capacity. Just my guess.
As you can see the hit counts on those 3 frequencies (6 since they are phase 2) is fairly low. But since it happened over several days and had numerous hits they are valid on the system. The rest of the channels you can see are active.

Yesterday they were all down. In the evening they came back online but there was no scanner traffic. North Central has been offline for weeks
Yup unfortunate series of events. ISP was down for a few hours in the morning then the power went out for a bit and the UPS failed (now i need to replace those batteries too). So when the feed came back up i thought things were back to normal. But now it appears the battery on the radio for 3,4 and 7 is bad. Hopefully I have a spare battery as i wont buy a new one for a feed that will come down soon. (once they officially stop using the UHF channels that is) I have not decided how I will proceed with replacement feeds once the UHF and VHF (dallas county) officially migrate to NTIRN and shut off the old stuff. I might put some stuff up on nodes or just keep stuff set up as private feed which is how im testing the NTIRN stuff now.
Testing out SDRTrunk and RDIO-Scanner, been fun testing that stuff out.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what this all means but if you host north central I'm wondering if I can help you in any way. I greatly appreciate you providing these broadcasts.

UN-Officially, The Dallas radio manager had mentioned to DPD and DFR about streaming dispatch to Broadcastify as official providers. There was talk about a 2 to 10 minute delay if needed, some of that discussion was in ref to if DPD went encrypted. I have no clue where any of this lies currently. Probably doesn't matter since dispatch channels are not encrypted. Didn't know you were the feed provider for Dallas, was just trying to steer the guy in the right direction so the original topic didn't get lost on the original post.

That would be great if they would stream dispatch on broadcastify. Honestly for me it's a safety concern. The neighborhood I live in has a lot of police activity. I sent Cara Mendelsohn a message on nextdoor but she never got back to me.
Here is a great example of why listening to the scanner is beneficial...Last night on Gramercy and Pearridge there were a whole bunch of cops along the street but no one knew why. The citizen app used to post alerts about this stuff but since the online database went off from the hack and the scanner has been down, so no one really knows what's happening.

Hi everyone. Just saw this thread. I'm the one who hosts the DPD NC feed. Still trying to understand what is going on with the system. I have my old setup running for now but as others have mentioned, all that seems to be coming through is squelch being broken when mics are keyed up, and very infrequent audio. I have new hardware on hand (a pair of SDR dongles) and am currently experimenting with the OP25 software package to get a fully capable stream back up and running. Sorry for the delay... trying to learn a new system and SW package in real time. Will provide updates here when I can.

Ok folks... got a very preliminary setup running here for DPD North Central dispatch, pulling from the NTIRN Layer 1 P25 system. Will be doing some work over the coming days/weeks to fine-tune things, but as of now it appears to be mostly usable.

Im testing out a few RTL SDR using SDRTrunk Recorder and RDIO-Scanner. Im not that happy with the quality of my audio. replaced the computer with a better one 2 weeks ago, got better antennas, i have a good clean signal coming in, but still getting random garbling on my private feed im testing.
