I see Dallas County still can't let analog go!

I'll plug it in and see if I can pick anything up yet over the next few days in NE Tarrant or at work in Dallas.

I figured they'd have gone on NTIRN rather than an analog system but what do I know lol.

I'm in Richardson today for the Holiday so after the Cowboy game I'll run search on Methodist, Dallas County Hospital district Medical City and Presby - Walnut Hill Ln and see what comes up. I'm sure these hospitals are going to be slammed today especially with deep fried turkey burns ...

New system at Dallas County Hospital district

For that license, looks like the sub-sites, other than Parkland, are at the various satellite clinics that Parkland operates.

For this one, FCC Callsign WRYY859 (Dallas County Hospital District), the single listed site is downtown at the Bank of America building, along with dozens of other SMR sites on top of that 70 story edifice.

For both licenses, Megahertz is listed as the contact, so I presume they will manage it, along with the existing Parkland site. or, maybe they'll pull of the larger, existing, Megahertz, multi-county system.

I'll set these up and monitor for activity.

Methodist Central is using their frequencies in conventional mode.

Charlton is on the trunked license, along with Midlothian & Mansfield, I've tried to run the LCN Finder on Charlton, but it only pulls up LCN 1. Unknown if they are actually using all three. I see a number of hits using color codes other than the CC 11 that Charlton appears to use. Those frequencies are licensed to a number of other entities in Dallas County. I'm maybe 5 miles from Charlton, and about 4 from Methodist Central.

For Methodist Mansfield, I'm likely well out of range. The activity that I see for their licensed frequencies appears to be unrelated to the hospital. One that is very active (from my location) is used by DISD's South Oak Cliff High School, which comes in like gangbusters. Midlothian is also out of range, and "behind the hill". Cedar Hill is above me in altitude, and the Midlothian facility is on the back side 'downhill' from Cedar Hill relative to me.

Methodist Richardson for all intent and purpose is conventional, I looked at my programming and have them that way. I have them in search so today I'll try to obtain better group ID's.
