The boys were arrested early Sunday morning after plainclothes Dallas police officers watched them set a vehicle on fire on Los Cabos Drive, near Interstate 35E and Laureland Road, police said.

Officers followed them and arrested them a short time later at Fordham Road and Maryland Avenue, near South Marsalis Avenue, police said.
It is unclear how many of the recent fires the boys are suspected of setting. Authorities have said it is likely more than one person or groups of people were setting the fires.
Some of the targeted vehicles were set on fire with Molotov cocktails, while others were doused in gasoline before they were set ablaze.
In this morning's fire, the suspects doused the car with gasoline, police said.
Dallas Fire-Rescue investigators were preparing to interview the suspects early Sunday. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
