Cops got stuck at railroad crossing, he made it through.

News helicopter still has him.

Cops are all okay, pickup truck hit perps car right in the driver's door as perp ran red light.

Richardson Fire Rescue 4 on the scene, probably on the Richardson EDACS system. I am too far away to trunk it though.

Ambulance 37 will be hauling the perp according to the video I am seeing.

That was a NASTY crash, that ended it. I had DPS Dallas running on the feed. Little difficult to hear at time thanks to 101 for walking on everyone ....

Any news on the condition of the guy that got NAILED by the pickup truck (thankfully he wasn't injured)?

I noticed right after he got NAILED, the cops ran up to his car, but only the first cop had his gun drawn, which he holstered right away after looking through the passengers window.

If he's still living, I guess he's lucky he didn't get hit by a fully loaded semi.......

The drive of the truck waled away. The dude who was being chased is in Criticle condition at Baylor and two other people were hospitalized.

On the DPS chopper deal. yes, they are all in use DPS 101 covers Most of Region-1 however 102 backs us up. DPS use both Fixed wing and rotorcraft. they Can simualcast ANY sheriff or Police and I believe fire also through the bird or patch DPS to SO radio's. they are FLIR equipt and can double as a arial platform for SWAT or MEDICAL.

Just FYI DPD has more than 1 Chopper also. Air-1 is only the designation for the Currant Bird in the air. But on occassion you will hear AIR-2 in Dallas. Generally AIR-2 is used for Tactical Surveillance When AIR-1 is busy on something. I believe DPD owns 5 helo's.

A few years ago I heard DPS and DEA doing surveillance together. There was 1 or 2 aircraft and several ground units. One of the aircraft had 159.090 and one of the UHF DEA channels patched together. I never figued out which agency was doing it.
