Does anyone have the scanner frequencies for the Dalton State College Police/Public Safety?

Possible Dalton State College Public Safety

I was also interested in the same information (I have family who lives in the area), so I decided to do a frequency search for that area. The following two frequencies are listed as being licensed to the State of Georgia for use by Dalton College for public safety.

155.820
156.210

They also had the State of Georgia "State Net" frequencies of 154.935 and 154.905 listed as well. I am not currently close enough to verify that these channels are used for this purpose, but will try to do so next time I am in the Dalton area. In the meantime, can anyone in the area verify or deny these frequencies?

From what I am able to tell the 155.820 frequency is the main channel for Dalton State College Public Safety.

With regards to the 156.210 frequency listed for Dalton State College Public Safety, I added that to my receiver now that I am in Northwest Georgia (specifically located closer to La Fayette at present) and did hear some radio traffic. I was unable to determine if this was the DSC Public Safety Officers or not, but could not find anyone else in this area who should be using that frequency. The conversation that came through, however, discussing a "judge's office" did not really seem to be consistent with that of a state college's police department and sounded more like court security etc.

If anyone is able to shed any light on this then that would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the information. None of those listed should be close enough for me to hear at my present location. It is always possible that what I heard was someone operating on an unlicensed basis.

I did do a search through the FCC and uncovered that the Dalton State College callsign of WNDU613 only shows 155.820 listed.

I originally got both of these frequencies for Dalton State College off of Scanner Frequencies which was undoubtable old information. So much has changed in this area of Georgia (and over the whole US too no doubt) as more places go to digital trunking. Maybe Santa will bring me a P25 compatible scanner for Christmas. LOL
