I noticed that the San Mateo County P25 Regional Communications Systems (SMCRCS), In addition to the Sheriff and EMS , has channels for San Bruno Police Dispatch P25 and Daly City Police Dispatch P25. Both agencies run conventional frequencies so i was curious what these channels were and what they are used for.

Probably testing or backup purposes. I assume the conventional traffic is not simulcast on the P25 talkgroups?
Correct. Traffic is not simulcast to the channel. I never hear them talk on it
