I was reading the Danbury Newstimes today and looks like they want to upgrade their radio system to a digital system but sounds like it is years away. There is also talk in the article of Newtown wanting to go to a digital and sounds like the Newtown Police Chief is going to make a pitch to the Board of selectman about a upgrading to a new digital radio system. I know it is way to early and this may be jumping to conclusions but hopefully they don't talk about encryption and do what Stamford did and encrypt everything. Time will tell since it is a couple of years away.
