The bright brushed aluminum faceplate of the PRO-2096 clashes badly for installation into a vehicle dash.
Being a standard single DIN size it fits nicely, but a dark, flat black, dark gray faceplate would work well.
I can already see the paint peeling off if I decided to spray paint the faceplate.
Does Radio Shack provide a dark faceplate for the 2096?
I noticed that the PRO-2054 comes with a dark faceplate and looks like it might fit the 2096.
Any suggestions are most welcome.
