Hi,

Up to a week ago I was hearing the College security/safety on 464.325 now it has gone silent. I wonder if one of the more expert hobbyists in the Upper Valley has more information or could help me out. Thanks in advance.

According to the RR database, 464.325 is part of a trunked system - try programming the system in, and see if you hear them (I'll paste the link to the trunking info below). If I recall correctly, 464.325 was at one time a conventional frequency - perhaps they have just recently started using the trunked system? I'd be curious to know what you find out.

The scoop

They have switched to a trunked system. I entered those frequencies and now I hear security, maintenance and a variety of other college operations. I don't have trunk scanner but good enough for entertainment. Last night it was a fraternity brother with his arm caught in a toilet. Party on Garth!

Thanks for the update! When I get a chance, I'll have to see if I can hear them from here.

What are the LCN's? [Not what is listed]

I was up there in April and some of the LCN data was odd when reading it in conventional mode.

What frequency are you hearing security on? I've tried numerous times to trunktrack this system and failed every time. However, I have noticed that EMS and other ambulance services talking to DHMC when they're inbound on 452.675 every single time. Thanks!

Safety: 451.787 fire alarms, drunk kids, concert security escorting students late at night. I used to hear security and safety on 464.325 but they have definitely switched to this channel.

Facilities Management: 453.000 plumbing problem here, window broken there. Definitely physical plant maintenance. Delivering av equipment to classrooms. shuttle buses. snow plowing.
