DART frequencies wanted

well if you dont know what dart is its some water rescue team stands for Drowning Accident Rescue Teami need to know the frequencies for sacramento and thanks ahead of time

DART's VHF frequency is 154.175. When they are actually called out, which isn't very frequently, they'll usually operate on the Sac County Fire trunk system, TG A1.

thank you very much... ya the reason i wanted to know is because some truck went into the water at south river road.. and west sac fire wanted to know if they called dart and i didnt get to hear what they were saying... and do they talk when the divers are under water ???

DART cannot communicate while in the water. Although, in reality, it's a team, and not one person.

DART does use pagers and cell phones. They are issued Motorolas and operate on the County TRS. They have access to most of the talkgroups. They've been on our channel, Fire, and I think even the SO and PD. They're an interesting group of volunteers, but people have mixed reviews of their performance. BTW-I have yet to see a rescue. Every time I've been out with them it's been a recovery.
