Hello, No the dataskip feature tries to filter out telemetry data and other similar data signals. It does not screen control channels. If you are searching lock them out.

Thanks

The only thing I've ever been able to get data skip to work on is dead silent carriers. Even telemetry will hold usually. Data skip is often a culprit when people think their radio is screwed up, because it's easy to turn on by accident, and it will kick in on dead spots during voice transmissions.

The way data skip usually works is that it detects that there is no modulation or constant modulation on a channel and continues. Telemetry and control channels have neither constant nor no modulation.

I've had it skip on channels with constant tones on, which is an example of constant modulation.

Think about it. If it did skip on control channels, and you had control channel only mode on, you would never hear anything.
