• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Hey everyone, I was referred here by Mike Oxlong, he told me to request Database Admin privleges for the NS TMR....

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=3627

I know I don't have a very high post count here, my main hangouts are Batlabs and Hamsexy...anyways, I have literally piles of info to contribute about theis particular system, I do some work on it time to time, have the system installation guides and everything on the system, even codeplugs from subscriber radios.....I have a pile of stuff to contribute, but theres just too much to sit down and put it all up at once...not to mention it is full of innaccuracies the way it is now...

Thank you

Lindsay and VE9MP are now in conversation.

Hopefully we'll have a new database admin on staff soon.

Good news, Mike.
You've " dug and paved " a lot of the Database "Road" for us in the Canadian DB.

The Maritimes will now have better representation and maybe when people look at the database , they will see that there is accurate , pertinant info for that area .

It's nice to see more regional people coming onboard with their expertise.
