Database or Favorites (Your Preference)

I program my scanners manually. That way I know the information is both current and correct. I've noticed the RR database is sometimes neither. That's not an insult. Just an observation.

I agree. That is one of the only reasons why I am not a huge fan of the Uniden SDS models. I use a BCD325P2 and programming it is one of my favorite parts!

Some scanners have huge databases that can cycle through hundreds of frequencies that sometimes take a lot of time to manage. Sometimes these big lists contribute to missing voice traffic. This poll is to determine what percentage of the users out there, have opted to turn OFF the databases and strictly scan only their favorites lists... (at least 90% of the time).

Absolutely. The database can be the "source" for the favorites lists, along with anything manually entered.

Getting my 436 today in the mail. Don’t know to much about it. Upgraded the antenna.

With a new to me 436HP, strictly on Favorite Lists for now. Looking forward to travel across state and use the database.
