The last 3 submission I have made to the database have not been posted. (All northern California). What's up with that?? I sent in some Calaveras county stuff about a week ago, nothing. I sent in a large listing for Alpine county, nothing. I guess if you are not going to post I won't bother to send anything in.

Just be patient. Administration recieves many submissions per day and it might take a while before your submission gets added to the database.

You have the patience of a saint.

Instead of griping publicly, how about sending a private message asking why your submission did not meet standards for posting ?

You'd almost think this was a common occurance with the mod's here. With the exception of Lindsey of course.

"Instead of griping publicly, how about sending wayne h a private message asking him why your submission did not meet standards for posting ?"

I agree with that fully. Accept the users do not know who the admins are, unless I missed something which is certainly possible. :)

Hello,

One way to tell who the admin is for a paticluar area, go to that Counties or Systems page in the database and click on the time stamp "Last updated on".

This will show you the admin who last modified the County/System. In most cases it will be the same one who maintains that paticular County/System. Hope this helps :)

I don't have a problem with people PMing me about submissions, or anything else. I definitely do NOT discard submissions because they "did not meet standards." That's crazy talk. If I find I can't figure out what the person is saying I'll PM them.

Whatever happened to that information I don't know but it hasn't been sitting around.

I am not sure what this is supposed to mean. Moderators do not make database changes, administrators do. Yes some administrators are moderators also. As to Lindsay, he does very little database work, as he is too busy trying to keep the site running.

Next time you want to post, why don't you register first. And yes, Canadians can register. 8)

I agree, most of the time. But it doesn't look like it this time. This time it looks like a lurker. :D
