Heard someone on Davidson county ems say that some radios are being reprogrammed today. Any one have any inside info? I keep seeing some viper activity,and all ems to hospital is now on viper.just curious to see if a change is near.

What is the talkgroup id for the ems to hosp on viper? I have heard that Davidson must be on 800 by 2016 but that is all. Will try to find out more in Oct. at my next EMT Con. ED and let you know.

When Davidson switches it will probably be to VIPER. Davie county is also in the proscess of switching to VIPER.

Some units are on VIPER... But most comms are still patched to vhf and uhf. You might be able to hear Davie county on the Welcome tower site.
