Daviess County Testing Automated Dispatch

Central dispatch has been testing automated dispatching here and there. No idea if this will become permanent or if they are just experimenting.

Suppose to be permanent. It was suppose to be online Monday the 10th for the city and Wednesday the 12th for us in the county but problems proceeded. I'm told next week will be the switch again so we shall see

Sounds good on the trunked system but they really need to do something with the audio level on AMR's frequency. Also noticed it won't simulcast like they were able to do when they live dispatching. It sends stacked pages on each relevant frequency/talkgroup.

Yes. It sounds good on the city trunked system.
The county system on the other hand, the tone out is loud. The voice not so much.

They've got the simulcast dispatch working now. It's all going out at once like it used to.
