A few weeks back gldavis asked me to check out 153.905 and what I have been getting is fire page outs for Suntset FD, Clinton FD, Syracase FD and Kaysville FD. At the same time it is simo on TG 9600. I used to hear the page outs on 154.400, but have not heard them on this freq. for some time now. In the FCC file 153.905 was assigned to Sunset City KNHB936. I have not heard Farmington or South Weber paged out on 153.905 yet, so I will keep monitoring this frequency to get more info.

Interesting. 153.905 is also licensed to the University of Utah, and the traffic I've heard on it is their campus shuttle buses (simplex, no tone). I suppose the U is hidden around the corner of the mountain and dosn't interfere with Davis' use of the frequency.

I haven't heard 154.400 being used used by Davis County either.

Just heard Clinton FD paged on 154.4000. I didn't get the circumstances because I was too busy trying to get my VHF/UHF scanner (a very old scanner) locked so I could verify the frequency. I don't know if this fits in to what you are looking for or not. (I think it was a "manning page" for the station.)

154.400 is still in use... I believe the other frequency is just for cities in the northern parts of Davis county.

Okay. From an old list I have 154.400 as Davis Fire South and 154.070 as Davis Fire North. Is 154.070 used at all by Davis County anymore? In the DB, however, 153.875 is listed as North Davis Fire (179.9 Hz, 158.835 input, linked to UCAN TG 8864). Is that still active? If 153.875 and 153.905 are both in use in north Davis County, what is each used for? I'd like to update the DB with all current info.

154.400 used to be the South Davis Fire Dist. channel 1. It was also the dispatch channel and was monitored by and toned out all of the off duty firefighters wearing the minitor pagers as well as setting off the gongs at the stations. When South Davis switched to UCAN and got all of the firefighters alphanumeric pagers, they "gave" the frequency and paging equipment to the Davis County to use for dispatching all the northern departments, and switched to a zetron phone system. I believe that South Davis had 2 or 3 repeaters back then. I could get voice pages and monitor calls on that pager all the way from ogden to Sandy! Not bad for back then.

This is what I show in my notes:
154.400 N Davis Co FD/EMS Page-out 203.5 tone
154.070 Bountiful FD/EMS Page-out unk tone
153.875 Clearfield FD/EMS Page-out 179.9 tone I don't show any hits here, so I'm not sure where the info came from.
153.905 Clearfield EMS Page-out this was tied with UCAN TG 9600
