Dayton PD / MCSO

I heard today from a very reliable source that there are currently talks going on about combining the Dayton PD dispatch and the MCSO dispatch into one. That's all I know right now, I will pass more on as I hear it.

The merger has been talked about for some time. The city manager is big on working with the county because that is where he came from. Talk of using the old Rehab Center (City Prison) on S. Gettysburg ws the latest. It will not be in the near future. On the same note Riverside PD. will probably be dispatched by Dayton, maybe starting in January. They are already using the Dayton reporting system.
