DB Description Request

Under the St. Louis DB listings, St. Louis is split between county and city. Can the label be changed to reflect St. Louis City instead of just St. Louis. right now St. Louis is listed twice, and its a little annoying/confusing when using software to distinguish between the two.

Where are you talking about specifically?

In the listing it either says St. Louis or St. Louis (City) (or St. Louis (Independent City) depending on where you look); the only real confusing item is the inability to click on St. Louis City on the state map, which I don't think you are talking about.

You're right I wasnt talking about the clickable map (although this would be nice). This maybe just an issue with ARC396 since I just checked WIN97 ( havent used it in a long time) and do see the separation between STL county and City. With ARC all I see is two listings for St.Louis, so I dont know if ARC filters everything inbetween special characters or not, so I may have to hit up Butel on this.

Not sure how its listed in the DB, but if the "Independent City" is in parenthesis, perhaps it can be changed to be hyphenated? "St. Louis - Independent City"

It is a code indicating an independent city, obviously Butel is ignoring the code. That is why Don's software calls it "Independent City" and we list it as "City" on the drop down in the DB.

Just for general information, there are two versions of the web service currently available. The newer SOAP version has been out for awhile (indeed was updated in the past couple of days), I am unsure which version Butel is using. But if the legacy version is being used, it goes away on this summer. If Butel is using the new version, then it is a bug that needs to be addressed.
