Discovered somewhat by accident, although perhaps it is documented already somewhere that I overlooked.
If you select the Search DB for CC tab, and search a real zip code that contains no frequencies in the DB, the software will instead read the roaming frequencies from the P25X flash and display them along with some basic information.
This approach also seems to work if you select a zip code that does contain records in the DB, if you enter "0" for the Search Distance.
Perhaps helpful to someone.
