DC 800 Mhz Trunk TG 35600

I have been listening to talkgroup 35600 for a few days on the 800 Mhz portion of the trunk system and it sounds as though it is a motorist assistance patrol. Lots of chatter about disables vehicles on major streets, bridges, and even I-295.

In the database this talkgroup is listed as 'Mayor Ops-1', but it appears this may be incorrect.

Yeah, I think they may be using the talkgroup for something other than the Mayor's Office. It now appears to be used by "TMC," which is probably Traffic Management Center. These people were previously on 34576 (the District Dept. of Transportation talkgroup).

Hi Dave - Thanks, that would make sense and match up logically with what I keep hearing. This is a fairly busy talkgroup and I am defiitely hearing a mobile unit that is reporting disabled vehicles frequently, as well as illegally parked ones. I heard the mobile unit dispatched on several occassions to specific street addresses in the city where there were reports of illegally parked cars too. - Kel
