If you have problems getting DC fire on 800, and you are using one of the object oriented scanners, read this from W4NNG on Scan-DC...(he has a PRO-197)

Thier 800 system consist of a multiple xmtr's at variouis locations. Rig came to life when I set it to Roam and with a much lower then default roam threshold. Here's the config that worked for me

Trunk Table = Default
MultiSite Mode = Roam
Threshold Hi = 95
Threshold Lo = 45
T Table = Default
Fleet Map = Type II

Actually that is not correct, it is NOT a system with multiple control channels so by setting ROAM you are telling it to leave the CC whenever you briefly get a low signal. It worked perfect on my PRO-197 with the setting OFF.

I'm using the pre-programmed Vscanner settings for DC FD and they work just fine.
