2148: CHASING A STOLEN CAR ON LO-JACK (ON 7TH AVE HEADING NORTH BOUND) TALKING TO OTHER HELO (working together)? said they were in contact w/ police on radio
never identified them .. CONDOR? MSP? ..
im listening with a little dual-band 2m/440 magmount that's on the ground outside so it must be close by (im in Montgomery County within approx 5-10 mi. of NW DC line
dont know if this should really be posted to an aircraft mon. forum..?
wondering if anyone knew anything about this or this freq's use other than a/a as in above
2210: a small prop. just swoooped right over my house at what looked like less than 1000ft dont know if related... FAA's "FLIGHT CHECK 81" is doing runs around DC METRO checking stuff..
2218: same craft passed right over my house again headed opposite direction at low alt. (looked even lower than last time.. maybe 500-600ft VFR) it did not look like MC-10
could this poss. be the guy trying to find the lo-jack signal?
at time of pass it would be in Mont. County Bethesda District right around NIH / suburb. hosp.
2233: 2nd pass almost 99% that was FAA's FLIGHT CHECK 81.... making passes on 119.85 DCA APPROACH at similar altitude.. but the rest of the above still stands..
