DC Power Adapter Options

Hello-
I need to replace a radio shack 12V DC Adapter 300Ma (JOD-41U-02). They dont sell them anymore.

I see lots of cheap chinese junk available for my replacement. Where can I find a reasonable replacement that won't be noisy or run hot?

Im considering a universal adapter to use with audio/radio stuff but I am sure I will get skunked.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Try Mouser.com. They have a huge selection of parts.

This one will work, but the connect may have to be changed.
