Just a little feedback.Live in the Ashburn area of Loudoun County.Using BCD996T.Receiving everyone within 35 miles except for DCFD.Howard County comes in loud an clear.Using back of set antenna. Our previous location was 3 miles away and I could receive DCFD.
Anybody have any input. Using Freescan.

Are you asking about the 800 mHz trunked DCFD system or the legacy dispatch on 154.19? On 800 I don't know if they've rebanded but if you're hearing nothing there then that's probably what has happened.
I'm hearing 154.19 today, January 7, but for some reason it's a weak signal.

DC rebanded on 800 almost a year ago. The database should be fine, but make sure you uncheck the 460MHz site in Freescan before downloading.

I was in DC for three days and 154.190 signal was weak. Had to set the volume offset to +3 just to hear the dispatcher. That was 12-19 thru 12-21 while Amtrack had $19.00 fares from Norfolk to DC.
