Hey guys,
Am starting a research project on a UHF system a few miles from my house. From the FCC database I found several licenses for this company. I put all of them into my scanner (Uniden 396XT) as conventional freqs and listened. As expected I located several freqs that are being shared with other companys. I did however expect to find at least one group of freqs being used by the company I'm researching.
After listening for a while I did determine for sure that their primary freq is definately a shared freq. And as such it has a DCS of 054. Now I'm questioning if in fact this is a trunked system as I understand them.
Has anyone run across any type of trunked system that uses DCS codes on it's freqs?
Thanks.
