Our town EMS squads have been complaining about a dead carrier on 155.295 so I decided to check it out. The PL is 100.0 hz with a decent signal here in Middletown. A quick search on RR indicates Somerset County uses this PL. Any one out that way that can do a quick signal check would be great.
Thanks in advance.

when the op initially posted this question about 3 weeks ago, i was picking up the signal loud and clear on a 996xt with discone <in attic>. located in central-eastern monmouth county.

I just found out about this yesterday. Tried searching the threads about this and can't find any thing from 3 weeks ago. But I just checked and the carrier is still there with a PL of 100.0 at 10 am est. Might not be Somerset then since South Brunswick and some one in Middlesex county aren't receiving it.

Ok thanks for that info Jim. Guess this has been an on-going issue. Thanks to all that chimed in.

Call the FCC

I assure many are being interfered with but just do not know it.

The folks that own it are certainly aware of it, it has been about a month on the air 24/7.
They just do not care.

My .02 is call the FCC , they provide for Public Safety
interference issues. They will find it and resolve the issue (and probably issue a violation).

Call them at 202-418-1122 they will be glad to help.
