Before retirement with my airline I was active in RFI tracking. My four rack mounted Icom R-1 receivers did a lot of the work. Courtesy Covid they sat on the shelf - unpowered - for that entire time. Now three of the four are stone dead. I first charged and intalled the batteries. I then connected the R-1s directly to the chargers so that the internal Li-Po memorys will be powered. Nothing yet - any ideas? (Supposedly there's a trick to get them going again.) Thanks!

The internal memory support cell should be a primary lithium chloride coil cell which will likely require replacement.

Memory backup coin cell is rechargeable. After sitting and cell discharges you need to power the radio for a short time and then do the reset procedure. Same setup for the 2,3,4 SAT handhelds
