decoding KX alphanumeric pagers

Has anybody tryed to decode KX alphanumeric paging transmissions? i am having a hard time trying to do it if anyone could help that would be great.

dumb question i have no clue why would one want to decode alphanumeric pages??? they tell u in english where the call is at.

Decoding pager data is against the law. I'd recommend NOT trying it.

i am not decoding this through third-part commercial paging carriers. They Have there own alphanumeric paging systems witch only broadcast EMS and FIRE dispatch communications. it is the same as listing to it with with motorola minitor pagers. It would onley be illegal if i was decoding other communication such as doctors, lawyers, etc and the general public. FCC Callsign WPDA800 Details

I can help you. I am a dispatcher there PT and assisted with building our pocsag verification system.

Basically you need a radios discriminator audio, a pc, and PDW software. We actully run PDW on the console... its free on the net.
