Looking to monitor CT DEEP units in general & spill & marine units in particular. I see they are on CLMRN Trunk system, but what site do they associate with? TY for the 411.

All of them depending on where they are needed. Put them in and I’m sure you will hear them granted marine units prob won’t be far from water but spill operates statewide wherever they are needed.

I have them in some scan lists but it’s not normally as much “marine” traffic as you would think, mostly I hear them driving around checking the parks and closing parks at night

DEEP Marine is the DEEP Law Enforcement District that runs from the New York line to the Rhode Island line, covering every town that is on the shoreline. The only non-direct shoreline towns covered by DEEP Marine are New Canaan and Killingworth. DEEP Operates on sites throughout The State. I have monitored DEEP Marine up in Hartford and Putnam.

Primary DEEP TGs that is seems you want are :

- 1429, DEEP Emergency, Transmitting Emergency Button Transmission

- 1410, DEEP Police, Marine District

- 1401, DEEP Police, Eastern District

- 1402, DEEP Police Western District

- 1404, DEEP Hazmat/Spill

- 1411, DEEP Lake Authority, Marine Patrol

As someone who lives in Niantic ... ... ... If you would like to listen to “Marine” operations, plug in these frequencies

- USCG 112 163.0500 - 118.8 (HVN)/131.3(NLC) (Sector Long Island Sound)

- USCG 112D 163.0500 - NAC 293 (Sector Long Island Sound)

- USCG 113 163.1375 - 118.8 (Station New Haven)

- USCG 113D 163.1375 - NAC 293 (Station New Haven)

- USCG Air Ops Primary 345.0000

- USCG Air Ops Secondary 237.9000

- USCG Air-to-Ground Primary 326.1500

- USCG Air-to-Ground Secondary 379.0500

Active in the Long Island Sound are also

- Marine 21 157.0500

- Marine 22 157.1000

- Marine 81 157.0750

- Marine 82 157.1250

- Marine 83 157.1750

How often do CG use P25 on VHF I only seem to hear them on analog and it’s mostly security at CGA and that’s UHF I believe

I do not listen to the UHF, other than the air ops, I believe the 300mhz are right on the line of VHF/UHF. The USCG does at times use P25, I tend to hear more analog than P25, but both co-exist.

I know they are analog on the marine channels. But you have CG112 and CG113 as using analog. That is what I was asking about.
- USCG 112 163.0500 - 118.8 (HVN)/131.3(NLC) (Sector Long Island Sound)

- USCG 113 163.1375 - 118.8 (Station New Haven)

I hear 112 on 118.8 , 131.3 and NAC 293, as well I hear 113 on 118.8 and NAC 293. This is why I keep both analog and P25 in my XG-100P and XTS3000.

Net 112 is $293 P25 Only, they are not Analog on the LMR NETS

What Stations/Units, as the NETS are 100% P25
they may have other uses/users on Analog, but it is not NET-112/NET-113, just may happen to be the same freq

ie: 166.1875 P25 is NET-124, however it is also used by Air Sta Cape Cod CSQ but it not NET-124
