I have had great success with .. pull your power plug and reinsert. Seems to straighten out the scanner.

Other than maybe resetting your clock .. no issues from doing so that I have seen.

I just had a power failure .. and my PSR800 and 1095 both needed reprogramming of the SD card and reset of the clock.

That is an SD card issue above (config file error) .. so a reprogramming will be needed.

From the PSR800 manual re that error .. I am sure that the 1095 is exactly the same.

05-03 is a config.bin error ... and it states "Reformat the microSD card using the PC Application. Prepare SD card for use option. Replace the microSD card if the problem persists"

Personally .. I have had no problems with the 1095 even after a power failure last night. I just reprogrammed the card .. and it worked fine.

These are not complex scanners .. and almost all issues can be tracked back to the SD card, or user error.

Unless your card failed, which I highly doubt, a reformat and reprogramming will fix it.

I am having a similar problem, but mine is related to Win 10. Before the upgrade I was always able to communicate with the scanner. Now I can't do anything through EZ Scan even after getting the EZ Scan update. I have formatted and loaded numerous cards with no problem. My error is 'EZ Scan cannot comm. with the scanner'. It says to unplug USB and plug back in. No luck. I have tried the power cord and everything else I can thing up. When plugging back in, the card is read in explorer no problem.

After reading the instructions, I was able just to go directly to Device Manager and do the update driver. I did not realize the driver was even stored on my drive. Have no idea where it came from as this is a clean install of Win 10.
Driver installed and all is now working. Thanks, for the help.
