RR has posted 2 new frequencies for Decatur PD. 1 of the frequencies i'm unable to load.
856.58760 WNGH649 RM 115 DPL DPD Dispatch Police - Dispatch

I get the following error during loading
"The frequency is invalid for the currently selected country band plan"

I have the PSR 800 and I'm using the EZ scan software to load frequency data.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

So I can assume that some of the municipalities in the County are still using conventional rather than the TRS?

We now have Decatur Police posted as operating on both the DeKalb Co DTRS and conventional on 800 MHz. Can anyone confirm which is their primary mode of operation?

Decatur PD main dispatch operations are on the Dekalb Digital TRS 6241, confirmed just as I typed this, it's active. CH 2 is 6242. The conventional frequency is something other than primary dispatch or it is a backup.

Thanks, Casey - that's what I thought. If my memory is accurate, Decatur had 800 MHz frequencies for both police and fire PRIOR to joining the DeKalb TRS. Those may be carry-overs and, as you say, used as backup or even talkaround.
