I'm trying to set up a police scanner, more specifically the Uniden BC125AT in the Del Rio Texas , VAl Verde county area but the frequencies that I picked up off this site don't seem to be working, can someone share the frequencies they use with me please. I'm a novice at best when it comes to this tech so if these frequencies on this site are accurate I'm probably messing up the programming of the device itself, any tips, advice and a list of the frequency you use would be greatly appreciated.

Like the other poster said, everything you would want to listen to is P25 digital, and border patrol is mostly encrypted. Police, Sheriff, EMS, Fire and some Air Force base activity are all P25 digital and able to be heard with a trunking capable digital scanner. Lots of businesses, some schools and aircraft can still be heard with that scanner you have though so don’t get rid of it unless that is not your cup of tea.
