Delaware IR sites

Are the above "IR sites" still in use? I don't pick up anything on the IR Site Control Channels.
Also I saw the the State of Delaware 800MHz system was updated in the DB to include new VR channels (Vehicle Repeater Channels);
(2) for NCC, (2) for Kent, and (2) for Sussex. Does anyone know how or when these frequencies will be utilized?

Maybe the CC's have changed and nobody has noticed or posted this to the RR DB, They each have a very small coverage area, were you anywhere near them? Did you check all the possible frequencies? The 2 NCC IR Sites don't even list an alt CC so they may need some more research..

These are used exclusively on incident scenes to extend system coverage. Kind of like fireground or event channels, a mobile hotspot

The "IR" sites should remain in service until the system revamp is completed in a few years. SmartNet / Smartzone systems can support a limited number of sites per simulcast cell (10 or 11.) The New Castle simulcast cell is at capacity, thus the "IRs," although the "IR" designation should be retired because I think they are technically multicast sites.

Note that I submitted a change to the RRDB for the Wilmington site which corrected the callsign.

Move to P25, new cores, general technology refresh, and I'd imagine IP backbone because the newest system software requires it.

The Hartly IR site is off the air. There was no evidence of any site frequencies in use, however the Kent Simulcast cch was strong in the area. The Kent site showed only the New Castle and Sussex sites as Peers / Neighbors.

The Hartley Site has been deleted, We are not able to depreciate sites in a SW TRS.

I was in northern Delaware today and saw some major tree / line damage from last week's tropical storm. Major trees uprooted or snapped in half, and attendant road closures. Haven't seen this much wide spread damage since some recent southern hurricanes.

The Winterthur "IR" (not sure if it is a lowly IR or been converted to an ASR) was only showing 2 channels: 853.325 acch and 853.500 cch. The limited voice traffic I heard was over the acch.

The Hockessin "IR" was busier, but only receivable in a limited area. I lost reception about a mile south of the tower site along Rt 7. Only had it long enough to confirm 5 channels.

Adding a note about the tree / stream flood damage in northern NCC: apparently there was a confirmed EF0 tornado that struck the area last Friday.
