Here's a photo of DSP Command 1 loaded with all kinds of nice toys. It is currently being fitted with a ICOM 706 MK IIG, automatic antenna tuners and a Yaesu FT-8800.

How about some photos of the inside. The outside really doesn't say much of anything about what the vehicle is like.

DSP Command 1 Interior

Here's a few shots of the interior, I'll post some of the ham radio installation as soon as we're done!

The inside is rather neat. They have a number of radios on different bands.
Included in the radio lineup is a radio interoperability gateway from Sytech Corp
that allows them to interconnect several of the radios, cell phone and other
things into common or multiple radio networks.

There is also a couple of TV cameras that are mounted on the extendable
mast as seen in the photo.

The inside is well laid out and much better than most of the comm vehicles
I have seen. They did their homework on the equipment racks. They are
on slide out rails. You don't have to unbolt the rack and man handle it out
to work on whtat is mounted in them.

They carry a number of portable radios and other equipment. In general I
would rate this command vehicle an 8 out of 10.

Attached is a photo of the ham equipment aboard Delaware State Police Mobile Command Post, Yaesu FT-8800, Icom 706 MKIIG. The command post has it's own call sign as well W3DSP.

I'll take some better photos next time
