Ok thanks! I know there's a 103-7C, D and Haz Mat 103 too, not sure if the C and D are backups or part time.

I know that 103-7c is a reserve if 7a or 7b break down but Im not sure about 7d I've never heard it on the radio so I don't know.

103-7C and D are nothing more than back-up units for 7A and 7B. You will never actually hear "103-7C" on the radio.

100A is O.O.S. and Medic 72-7 was put in service in its place

100B is O.O.S. and nothing was put in its place.

102-7 went O.O.S. sometime in 2002 and 102A and 102B were created in its place.

100D is in Glenolden station 5 and it handles Tinicum Twp. first due in addition to its original first due

Just to be picky...

Darby's medic unit is 04-7A
Concordville's medic unit is 59-7A

Medic 81-7 operates from Crozer Hospital and handles the East End first due
Medic 83-7 operates from Crozer Hospital and handles the West End first due
Medic 82-7 is the critical care transport unit for the Crozer-Keystone Health System and can operate as a city backup unit if needed.

Medic 101 is the supervisor for the entire Crozer Keystone Health System

Medic 100 is the supervisor for Crozer Hospital only.

Medic 104A no longer exists, but it used to be at Station 64 (Edgmont)

Riddle Memorial only operates Medic 104-7 which is stationed at Riddle Hospital and covers Middletown Twp. first due, and also operates Medic 104B, which is stationed at Station 41 (Newtown Square) and covers Newtown Twp. first due

QRS105 is not a medic unit - it is staffed with only 1 EMT and is used to supplement the surrounding volunteer ambulances when they need an EMT.

Medic 105 is at Fitz Hospital and covers Folcroft and Darby Twp first due
Medic 105A is at Fitz Hospital and covers Lansdowne, East Lansdowne, and Yeadon first due.

Also Taylor had Medic 102 it was a Tactical Type truck that they got a few years ago what ever happend to that? I see 102 is a SUV and the other is a car.

Medic Ridley 7 is based in a little pre-fab building behind Station 43. Station 43 actually owns the building. During the day Monday Thru Friday 8am to 4pm you will also hear "Ridley-7B" This is a BLS unit. Medic Ridley-7 or 7A only operate one at a time 24/7.

The "ice cream truck" is what we used to call Taylor's tactical unit. It is still there as a back-up unit, but is not first out anymore because of high mileage and overall lack of reliability. Medic 102 itself used to actually be Medic 102-9's car (Taylor's Chief), but he gave it up so that they only had to buy 2 cars instead of 3.

Medic 23 IS staffed by Riddle Paramedics 24/7. There is also a Medic 23A, used by volunteers or as a backup to Medic unit 23.

I was under the impression that there was a 104 unit stationed at Edgmont (64). I've seen 104-7B at 64 within the past couple of months, so I was under the impression that it was still active.

There is no RMH unit based out of 64. 64-9 is a Paramedic for Riddle so that may be why the unit was at that station. 64's local is covered by 41-7 and 104-B (RMH), Medic 59-7 (RMH) or 104-7(RMH) depending on the area.

Just to clarify, 104A is now used by 104-9A. It is not designated as 104A. 104-9 and 104-9A are the radio designations for the Chief (Keith Laws) and Asst. Chief (Eugene Smith or "Pidgey" as some may know him) and they use units 104 and 104A. Periodically, you will hear unit 104 on the radio when fireboard is attempting to get one of them.
