Not sure if this helps, but when I was up there at the end of October, they were still on vhf. Their unit numbers vary, but are always 2 digit numbers.

I have not heard Escanaba on the analog channel now for a few weeks. City of Escanaba seems to have a lot of new RID's along with various small town EMS and Fire. All dispatched by 21P911. Was hoping to get someone in Delta County to verify.

Are you saying maybe its this frequency 154.755 that was expired license 6 1/2 years ago that was still being used !? They finally put that to rest?

Others here let us know if these are still valid as we have them?

It's true that 154.755 has been used all these years. One thing that I can verify while spending many months up there through the years is a inconsistency with the transmitter power on that frequency. With using an external high gain vhf antenna approximately 35 miles away, there were times that their signal barely made one bar on my Pro106 and other/most of the time the signal would be full quieting which was typical. Not sure what the explanation is, but this weak signal would last a few weeks at a time; I know that it has nothing to do with propagation due to the short distance to my location and that 155.715 Delta Co. Fire/Ems was always a strong signal.
Just another question since we are talking about Esci, do they still use 158.835 for public works or anything?

Anyone know the EMS Helo in Escanaba? Didn't get up there this summer as planned to do some searching?

158.835 is still in use for Parks And Rec, St Dept, Water Dept, and Power. DPW covers all of the.

Thanks for updating us. I will be heading up north soon for the first time this year.
I guess the only vhf repeater action from Delta Co. is:
155.715, 158.835, 170.15. Any others? I will miss listening to Esci PS on 154.755.

There is the Island Resort and Casino. I can pick them up with a roof mount antenna on the car in Eski fairly well.
