Denton County Sheriff Patrol channel 1,2,3 questions

Is there a reference map or list of the cities in Denton County Sheriff's Office Patrol 1, Patrol 2, Patrol 3? Instead of listening to the entire county, I only what to listen in my immediate area.

You might find the Denton County wiki helpful. There's a list of unit numbers for particular areas. If you monitor closely for a while, you might be able to get a better feel what channels they typically use.

Quick answer is that Patrol 1 covers all county and state units. (i.e Deputy Sheriff's, Texas Highway Patrol, TABC, TWPD (Game Warden and Park Rangers), DA Investigators, etc)

Patrol 2 covers one half and Patrol 3 covers the other. Patrol 2 and 3 are for the small cities that DCSO dispatches and the constables. It should be noted that Patrol 3 is not always in use as during slower nights they either patch the channels together or move everyone to Patrol 2.

You'll have to program in the Denton Co system, then program in the TGs that you want, check your post that you made asking about Lantana.
